Synopsis: Lonny Serkin is a young man who is lost–both in himself and at the military academy where he has been sent. In his writing teacher, Lucy Hobbs, he finds both solace and a way out by finding and using his talents. On his journey out of himself and into the world of adulthood, he has to deal with loss and love in sometimes unequal measure, and not lose himself again in the process.
